History / About
On top of other social media things i also run a quaint little podcast called “The Alex W Hughes.com Podcast.” The show started out as a quick way to get some interest in my blog but quickly outgrew the amount of interest the blog was getting, as a result the blog was removed but traces of it can still be found around the internet. To date the podcast has had over 5000 downloads and it keeps growing with every episode.

Regularity of Episodes
The Podcasts are recorded in groups and are about 20min long about every two weeks and episodes are timed to be released every 7 days to give people a chance to listen to the show and also some time for me to sit back and relax if i miss a week.
Genre
The genre really depends on the week and what’s currently popular, i notice i do a lot of specials on artists that im currently listening to or even sites like Triple J’s Unearthed.
Your Questions
How are the shows created?
Normally i collate a play list of songs called “Podcast” in my iTunes. (you might hear me refer to it when i forget to open the playlist before beginning the recording) The list normally consists of 7 well researched songs but i may only choose to use three of them due to the amount of time i allocate myself.
Will You feature my songs?
If i think they will fit the genre im aiming for or i can see the audience enjoying them i may do a special or feature one of your songs….Email Me
Do you ever collaborate with other people?
On occasion i do appear on other shows and am planning to guest hosts but i am still working out technical issues regarding using two microphones currently.
